Physical Help

Saving Lives

If anyone needs Hope + Life, it is the unborn— they do not have a voice. We believe that every life matters. We will support teen mothers, helping them get the resources and support needed.

Homeless

We will come alongside these families to help get them back on their feet. We cannot expect a student to achieve at a high level when they do not even have a home to live in.

Equality for ALL students

While this is a faith-based organization, we celebrate the diversity of all families and will extend a welcoming hand to any who wish to work with us regardless of faith, race, ethnicity or political affiliation. We will stand up and make it known that all humans are equal and created in the image of God.

Food

Many students do not just want to hear about Jesus in words alone, but also see Him work in their own lives physically. We will strive to feed students in ways below.

Our food pantry will be located at our warehouse. People will be able to drop off donations during the week, where those in need will be able to come and pick up items from the pantry on our days of giving.

Once a week, we will come together as a community to prepare and serve a meal. All are welcome to join us.

Food trucks will travel from town to town throughout the week, setting up in lower income neighborhoods around the county and serving free meals to those in need. As some people may not be able to come to us, we will work to bring God’s love to them.

Food pantry

Our food pantry will be located at our warehouse. People will be able to drop off donations during the week, where those in need will be able to come and pick up items from the pantry on our days of giving. In order to be able to take a variety of food types and preserve them until they can be distributed, there will be a walk-in fridge and freezer, thus giving us the ability to take in high volumes of food.

Water

Not everyone has access to clean drinking water within their homes, and so we plan to have pallets of bottled water set up outside of our warehouse for anyone to come by and grab as needed.

Clothes

We will have a clothing closet where we will accept donations and in the future we hope to have multiple drop boxes around the city. Every child should have access to multiple sets of clean clothes throughout the week. Studies show that children without proper clothing are more likely to have a lower attendance record, which can lead to them falling behind in classes and possibly even dropping out of school.

Bedding

Every child should have access to a bed with sheets, comforter and pillow— no child should have to sleep on the floor or couch. We will be proving these things to those in need. Along with eating, a child’s ability to have a good night’s rest is one of the most important factors in making sure they are able to grow and develop to their fullest potential.

Hygiene

Daily hygiene is an important part of students being able to maintain their health and cleanliness. We will help to provide essential hygiene products for any student that can’t afford them.

Scholarship Program

We hope to help support students financially by rewarding their community service- serving and giving back like Jesus did during his time on earth.

School Supplies

Many students lack the essential school supplies needed for day-to-day learning in the classroom. Without these, a child may fall behind in their educational development, and so by helping to provide them with these needed supplies, we hope to directly counteract this effect.

Mentors

We will be teaming up with CIS-Communitis In Schools to recruit mentors to go into schools in order to work alongside the students and support them throughout the entire school year. We will also work to find chaplins for high school sports teams so the athletes have someone who they can talk to outside of the game.

Mental Health and Character Education with “Remedy Live”

We will be teaming up with Remedy Live to organize school assemblies on topics such as abuse, bullying, hopelessness, addiction, anxiety, depression, loneliness, self harm, faith, fear, relationships, hope, and self worth. Through these presentations, we hope to show all students that they aren’t alone facing depression, anxiety, and the like.

Eye Care

No child should have to live day-to-day with a vision impairment holding them back from achieving at their full potential. We will work with students to help cover the cost of eye exams and glasses.

Immigration

As families enter the United States they are often in great need of help. We aim to work with these families to help lessen their burdens in this trying time.

Help Us Help Others

In order for our non-profit to run efficiently and effectively, we are dependent on faithful monthly recurring contributions from members of the community. Whether you give $5 a month or $500, every dollar counts and goes to giving students Hope + Life. We hope you will prayerfully consider giving however much God lays on your heart to provide.
